Kaiwan recognized me immediately, even after 30 years. She told me that back when I was there with the NGO Équilibre, we had saved her life. I’ve been returning to her fantastic restaurant, Xenadan, in Akre ever since—this time, right during the pomegranate pressing.

Kajwan mě i po 30 letech okamžitě poznala. Neziskovka Equilibre, se kterou jsem byl tehdy v iráckém Kurdistánu, jí prý zachránila život. Od té doby se do její famózní restaurace Xenadan v Akre vracím. Tentokrát během moštování granátovníků.
